Believe In Yourself…. Because if You Don’t, No One Else Will

The first step to living your dream life is to believe in yourself.


If you don’t believe in yourself, then you will never be good enough at something because you will fall short every time. Everything you did never seemed good enough to you and you always believed that you weren’t good at it.


So you basically fall into this endless cycle of disappointment, constantly wishing for things, but never actually getting the drive to get out and do something about it.


 You Are Never Bad at Something


When it comes to anything you do in life, there will be challenges that you have to overcome. Don’t take yourself out of the game by convincing yourself that you are bad at it.


You are your own greatest critic, which can often make you your own worst enemy as well. So when you are working to achieve or accomplish something and you tell yourself and others that you are bad at it, then guess what? You will never become good at it because YOU convinced yourself that you are bad at it.


I’m sure that you have heard the saying “I think therefore I am.” Your thoughts and beliefs will dictate the kind of person you are.


In your eyes you think, “I’m bad at this.” So you accept this as your reality and therefore you never become good at it because you’re too busy wasting your energy on thinking about how bad you are at it instead.


A Good Alternative:  Although we would love to be good at everything we do, it’s not going to happen. So when you are around others instead of saying you are bad at something and you want to iterate your struggles say something like, “I’ve often struggled with mastering this” or “In the past I have had a hard time overcoming this.” That way everyone won’t think you know it all when you really don’t. But make sure when you are thinking about it to yourself, think that you are the best at it and believe that you can do it. Soon you will subconsciously become convinced that you are great at it and with enough practice you will become an expert.



 A Little Negativity is Healthy, Disbelief is NOT


It is good to have a little criticism here and there, so we know what we need to work on in the future. If you are positive all the time then you may miss the points that you need to improve upon.


However, make sure you approach it in a constructive rather than a destructive way. That way you can allow yourself to improve by considering things from a negative perspective.


With this being said, while you aren’t always going to be positive all of the time, one thing to NEVER do is stop believing in yourself!!


Always believe in yourself no matter what. There is a time to be negative, but there is never a time to give up on yourself.


Through all the obstacles you face, there will come struggles, but these only make you stronger. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.


While you will not always be positive and happy-go-lucky, be sure to always know that you can do anything you put your mind to.


If you always try to deny negativity in your life it will eventually build up and backfire on you because you chose not to accept it. Just because you push it away and deny it doesn’t mean it will go away. You must first accept it and let it pass before you can move past it.


Don’t deny problems when they are there, but don’t forget who you are either. You are capable of doing anything that you put your mind to, but it takes belief in yourself before you can get there.


Don’t Stop, Keep Moving Forward

You only have a limited amount of time here on earth so why waste it doing something that you don’t love?


You should spend you life doing something you are passionate about. But to get here you need to set goals first and not stop moving forward.


When you believe in yourself you will know that anything is possible; so why would you want to hold yourself back? It takes a bit of self-discipline to make sure you keep a healthy mindset sometimes. But you will live a much happier and fulfilling life because of it, I can promise you that :)


But don’t take my word for it; start living the life for yourself and see firsthand how much your life will change. The first step to living the life that you want to live is to start believing in yourself. Don’t settle; never stop trying to grow yourself.
