Did you know that the life you have been living is a lie?
That’s right. We are taught to believe that everything we see in front of our eyes is all that life has to offer us.
But when we begin to go within and look for the answers instead, the truth comes out and reveals to us something that we have never seen before… Our true identity.
We see ourselves for who we truly are and learn that life has kept us distracted. We are constantly busy doing something and don’t give ourselves time to think. We dull our thoughts with things like:
• School: Busy doing homework and partaking in clubs or sports teams.
• Work: Working so much that you don’t have much time for anything else.
• Kids: Busy taking care of our children and making sure they are living an abundant life
All of these things that we are constantly distracted with leaves us no time to be alone and think about our own true wants and needs. Through our whole lives, we venture down our path trying to figure out life and understand why we are here. We are thinking about what we should be doing and what is the “right” thing to do.
But often, we are never actually given an answer to these questions. So instead, we learn to settle for the life we have. We are taught to think that the weekend and vacations are where life is at. We are kept from doing what we are passionate about because often that is much harder to do than to work a job with a guaranteed pay.
Sometimes there are people crazy enough to ask “why?” These people challenge what they have been told about life and the meaning of life. This leads to many questions continuously being unanswered.
We begin doing research to learn about things we are drawn to. One thing leads to another and we end up stumbling onto something that triggers a revelation in our mind.
This revelation is that we already have all the answers. But these can only be retrieved by going inside and figuring out why they are affecting us and how we can overcome them.
We soon ‘awaken’ to what life really means and suddenly everything seems to make sense and connect together. Your life pieces begin to fall into place as you learn the reason why things happened the way they did in your past.
You have just had what many will call a “spiritual awakening.”
But what happens if, as a delicate child, we were properly cared for and nurtured the way we should have been? What if the world never blinded us from the answers? Would we still have to experience an “awakening”?
It is important to understand that as a child, we are like a blank canvas. We don’t understand this world, and are seeking to learn how to navigate in the world with our physical bodies.
Our parents, grandparents, babysitters and other people we are around teach us how to view the world and teach us what to think about the world.
After this, our canvas is no longer blank.
The people we are around most have now stroked your life canvas with their paintbrush.
These experiences carry on through the rest of our lives. This is because most people don’t understand these things so they end up forming your beliefs around something that doesn’t truly resonate with your soul.
They raise their kids just as they were typically raised, and the cycle of misunderstanding continues.
If the world never blinded us from our true selves, our entire lives would be a spiritual experience. We would be able to harness the true power of our spirit. But instead, we are trained to think a specific way, and that is all we know.
Hack of the Day: Why? What?
Why are you reading this?
Why are you with the person you are with?
Why do you hang out with the people you do?
What do they do to help you grow?
Why are you working the job you are?
Why did you go through the experiences you did in the past?
And what did you learn from them?
Take a moment right now to stop and ask yourself these things. When we begin asking “why” we start searching for answers. When we search hard enough for something, we will eventually find the answer.
Life should be full of magic and wonder, which means that we should be constantly growing ourselves by experiencing life through our 5 senses. But many people aren’t, because they are too busy being distracted by the thoughts of the future or the regrets of the past.
If we don’t ask the questions “why are we doing something?” and “what can this do to aid in our spiritual growth?”, then we will continue doing things that insult our soul.
But once we can see what things are holding us back, we will start to make changes in our lives. Life is different for everyone, but in order for it to be truly explored, you have to be willing to get out and see the world for yourself. Learn to think independently and reconstruct the way you see life as a whole.
But know that whether you live your whole life a spiritual experience, or you had to discover it for yourself, all of these things happened to you so you could learn a lesson.
Our spirit inhabits these bodies so we can experience certain things. When we open our eyes, we will see the significance of these experiences and will find the key to happiness inside of ourselves.
Ask the question, why, on everything you do and actually think about it. If you take the time to stop for a few seconds and ask why something happened, I promise you that it will answer more questions than you think. ☺
So in what ways have you grown throughout your life and what kind of experiences did you encounter? What things are you struggling with that you know are holding you back? Or what things did you have to overcome in order to get to where you are now? Let me know in the comments below, I would love to hear your experiences as well! ☺May infinite light shine upon you, revealing your path to eternal bliss. Remember, all the answers we seek are only found inside of us, so don’t be afraid to go within. Love and unity to you all <3
