Your mind is the most incredible tool on this planet. Your brain is the engine that fuels the body in unison with the mind. One of the most incredible feats your brain possesses is the ability to travel through time.
Travel through time? How is that possible? It is because our reality is not governed by the world around us; our reality is created within our minds and then perceived as something outside of us.
In simple terms, your brain acts as a receiver to deliver a picture that you see as reality. It picks up on the frequencies and vibrations of objects and creates the objects that we see with our eyes. An object has a certain energy, which your brain turns into an image that you perceive within your physical reality. So a chair looks the way it does because that is the way your brain perceives it.
The interesting thing is that we live in a 2-dimentional world, but your brain actually perceives it as a 3-dimensional one.
Along with the perception you have of life, your focus is the lens that you see life through. The lens that you are using dictates HOW you see your world. This is based on your reactions to things that happen in your life and how you handle them. Your reaction is what sends a ripple through the universe to make your present moment what it is.
The Present Moment is NOW
So where is your focus?
Are you enjoying the things around you or are you taking them for granted while focusing on something else?
When you take a walk through the park, are you enjoying the beautiful trees, open spaces and a wave of fresh air, OR are you walking through the park thinking about something that happened at work/school, a bill you have to pay or homework you have to do?
Again, where is your focus?
The difference between these two situations is:
- One allows you to actually enjoy the beauties that this planet offers us, which enables you to be grateful for all the small things and attract things into your life that will bring you closer to the life you want to live.
- Although it is difficult, while we ‘see’ something we miss out on all the details that make it so spectacular. Instead we end up with a group of blurry pictures because our focus was not 100% on any of them.
Your brain’s focus is very narrow, and if it’s not narrowed on one specific thing you will miss out on all the small details that makes life so magical.
Regretting decisions from the past will inhibit your ability to move on and grow as you need to. Your brain keeps you in the past, and the energy from something in the past lingers causing you to never truly move on, and thus, suck your energy well dry.
So what about the Future?
The future you want to live can be created to the exact mold you envision, but the trick isn’t to focus on the future. Instead, know what vision of the future you want to see and narrow your focus on the present to create this. Remember to take this one step at a time. Don’t try to take too many steps at once because it might send you crashing right back down to the bottom where you began.
Balance is the key.
It takes a balance of remaining in the ‘here and now’ and aligning that with the vision you see in your mind for your ideal future. But after you know what your vision is, take small steps to getting to that goal. If you want to bench press 500 pounds, it’s not going to happen in a matter of a week or two if you start out benching 200 pounds. So your goal should be small goals that bring you closer to that 500 pounds.
Most people spend so much time dreaming, but that is all it is: just a dream. Many worry about what the future will bring or what they will have to endure, but because they focus so much energy on that, their energy doesn’t create the present moment that is needed for their “dream” to become “reality.”
Your future is waiting for you to create it, but it’s based upon the decisions you are making RIGHT NOW. If you want to live your dreams don’t wait around for it and expect it to come to you because it NEVER will.
“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.” ~ Dale Carnegie
When you have a vision, let your present moment drive you towards that vision, not away from it. The more action you take in the direction of your dreams, the more doors of opportunity will open up to you.
Hack of the Day: Your Vision Should Dictate Your Focus
The focus of your life lens should be governed by the vision that you have for your future. If you KNOW where you want to go, then your focus can lock in on one specific thing and unleash the limitless power of your soul.
When your vision is clear, the steps will reveal themselves.
Your vision is like a heat seeking missile. Once fired it races at the predestined target without hesitation. Allow your vision and focus to work in unison to create through the eyes of the subconscious and watch your focus lock on and pull you towards the direction you need to go.
Write out the things you need to do TODAY and focus on doing one thing at a time with ALL of your energy until it is done, then move on. Make a schedule based on the things you need to do and take each task one step at a time.
May infinite light shine upon you, revealing your path to eternal bliss. Remember, all the answers we seek are only found inside of us, so don’t be afraid to go within. Love and unity to you all <3
